SoHo's Million Dollar Studios
SoHo’s 30 story condo at 565 Broome Street is already under construction with its developers expecting to have a sellout of more than $650 million dollars. The project includes Bizzi & Partners Development, Aronov Development, and Halpern Real Estate Venture.
Sales have yet to launch on the Renzo Piano designed luxury condo creation, however, pricing has been revealed–$1 million for a studio and up to $20 million for a four bedroom condo. The average price per square foot is $3,260 across the building’s 115 apartments.
565 Broome Street will include duplexes and penthouses–with each unit featuring floor to ceiling windows. Each of the six duplex apartments–two of which will be penthouses–will come with its own private 25-foot saltwater pool. However, all of the apartments will be lined of white oak floors, white oak kitchen cabinetry, and Basaltina countertops, as well as Calacatta Caldia marble slab walls in the master bathrooms.
The building will be located near the Holland Tunnel, but will have incredible views of the Hudson River. Each of the floors are designed with curved corners to provide a more “expansive” view— Bizzi added, “Renzo’s philosophy is all about light, openness and transparency.” After the 16th floor, the building is split in two, designed to allow more light in each of the residents’ home.
Amenities include a swimming pool, state-of-the-art fitness center, private gated driveway, lounge, wet bar, terrace, private storage, and access to shops right on ground level. 565 Broome is expected to be complete by 2018, and sales will begin by the end of the summer.
