A low-rise rental building at 40 East End Avenue was just purchased by Lightstone Group who plan to convert the building from rentals to condominiums.

The six-story, 100,00 square foot building is currently home to 40 rental apartments and will be completely demolished in order to make room for the 18-story boutique condo building.

The project was revealed to hold 29 units total, offering two, three, and four-bedroom apartments. Some of the apartments will be duplexes, and some will take up an entire floor and have private elevator access. There will also be one triplex penthouse that will include its own private rooftop deck, but every resident will have their own outdoor space.

The building will have amenities such as a game room, state-of-the-art fitness center, library, indoor parking spaces, and more.
