When Related Companies completes its massive Hudson Yards development, the far West Side neighborhood will be unrecognizable from what is currently the largest piece of undeveloped land in Manhattan. Construction on what will be the first tower to open, 10 Hudson Yards, , but the 52-story tower is just one piece of the 17-million-square-foot puzzle.

The Hudson Yards property, which spans from 30th Street to 34th Street, from Tenth Avenue to the West Side Highway, will open its first building in 2015. Construction on Hudson Yards isn’t expected to be completed until 2024.

When it’s all said and done, the 17 million square feet of space will be spread throughout commercial, residential, retail and school space. According to Related, 10 Hudson Yards will be the “most energy efficient Class A office tower” in New York. 30 Hudson Yards, the second of the two initial office towers, will rise 80 stories to 1,337 feet, earning a spot amongst the tallest buildings in New York City.

While two of the first four planned buildings at Hudson Yards are commercial, the other half are residential. 15 Hudson Yards will be the first . The High Line-adjacent building will rise 844 feet, and will offer 325 apartments and 160 condos for sale in the northernmost area of Chelsea.

35 Hudson Yards will be the taller of the two residential towers, climbing 950 feet. Of the 61 stories, 21 of the floors will be luxury condos for sale. A 200-room luxury hotel will also be located in the tower, complete with a ballroom, sky lobby, and spa. 35 Hudson Yards will also feature the flagship Equinox Fitness club, which will span three floors and include a swimming pool and basketball court.

Construction on the buildings at Hudson Yards isn’t the only thing happening in the neighborhood. Construction has begun on the tunnel that will connect to Moynihan Station as part of Amtrak's Gateway Project, as well as a new section of the High Line. Take a look now, because the West Side of Manhattan won’t ever look the same.
