Avenue A is currently undergoing a major transformation with new developments and high-end retail. Along with Extell’s two residential towers at 500 East 14th Street, which will also be home to the future Target, comes the newest development project, the Steiner East Village.

This new condominium will rise only six stories and hold 82 units. This soon-to-be residential building is already in the works, at the former site of the Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, and will be Steiner's first New York City residential building.

At 438 East 12th Street, the condos will be priced between $1.1 million for a one-bedroom and $11.25 million for a four-bedroom penthouse. The building itself will include a 50-foot indoor pool, a library, terrace, playroom, and an on-site state-of-the-art fitness center.
