While Albanese is behind a pair of extraordinary green rental buildings in Battery Park City in the Solaire and Verdesian, the LEED Platinum Visionaire looks like the jewel in the Albanese Organization's crown. Given your blogger's admitted soft spot for green condo buildings, The Visionaire is a sentimental favorite of a sort, but the apartments for sale at The Visionaire are also among the most popular condo listings here at New Construction Manhattan, so the favoritism isn't entirely sentiment-driven. Albanese reports that condos are selling briskly at The Visionaire -- this despite the recent weirdness with Battery Park City real estate -- and shows all the insight you'd expect from the man behind some of Manhattan's finest green residential buildings.
So, yes, whenever Albanese speaks, we'll gladly listen in.
