Over the weekend, Gotham West Market opened its doors to the hungry public. The 10,000 square-foot space reminiscent of Chelsea Market is serving up gourmet food from the Brooklyn Kitchen, El Colmado, Ivan Ramen Slurp Shop and more.

Gotham West Market was developed by the Gotham Organization as an integral feature of the Gotham West residential building, which is bringing 1,238 rental apartments to 550 West 45th Street in Hell’s Kitchen.

That’s not all that’s cooking in this quickly transforming neighborhood (sometimes referred to as Clinton) in Midtown West. Check out the new condos coming to Hell’s Kitchen:

540 West 49th Street

540West is bringing 114 condos spread throughout two seven-story buildings. Developed by Wonder Works Construction Corp. and Fortis Property group, 540West is being constructed on a site that spans the block between 48th and 49th Streets. The unique layout allows for the Meshberg Group-designed buildings to boast a central courtyard.

Residences in the the modern, glass and steel building range from studio to a two-bedroom penthouse, the latter of which is priced at $2,456,000. Many of the units at 540 West 49th Street are spacious and loft-like, including a duplex (pictured above) with “soaring ceilings, open stairways and glass railings.”

Amenities at 540 West include a 24-hour doorman, state-of-the-art fitness center, two landscaped roof decks and a 6,000 square-foot courtyard with dining/lounging area and reflecting pool.

435 West 50th Street

Earlier this year, the incredibly popular set a Downtown Manhattan record by selling a 12-room penthouse for over $50 million. After seeing how successful the conversion was, JDS Development and Property Markets Group have decided to convert a Hell’s Kitchen building into 51 condos.

, or Stella Tower, will feature one- to three-bedroom condos, ranging from $1.5 million to $9 million, according to BuzzBuzzHome. Amenities at Stella Tower will include a fitness center and a resident lounge.
