More of Fall’s New Luxe Lineup

Last week, we brought you a starter list of some of the 45 plus new luxury residential projects slated to hit the market this fall. This week, we’ve rounded up a few more detailed sneak peeks into our top picks for posh projects.

Jardim

Jardim is Portuguese for garden, the native language of Brazilian The name is reflected in the design of the building, which largely incorporates landscaped outdoor spaces and greenery into its design aesthetic. The 11-story condo building, which is located at 527 West 27th Street in the heart of Chelsea, will offer 36 luxury apartments ranging from one to four bedrooms, whose design will reflect the garden theme with large, private balconies. The ground level will also feature landscaped green terrain. Sales are set to launch in early fall, with apartments starting at $2 million.

520 West 28th Street

Just one block north of the Jardim is 520 West 28th Street, the much-hyped, space-age luxury condo project courtesy of starchitect Zaha Hadid. This futuristic residential building along the High Line is the first such project for Hadid in New York City, and will offer landscaped gardens, a pool and day spa, rooftop deck and lounge. Sales in the building are set to start within the next few months. Early reports stated that residences will start at $4.6 million, with a $35 million condo in the mix, though developer Related Companies may well increase those numbers.

212 Fifth Avenue

Switching gears from futuristic downtown design to classic New York elegance, . This stunning but longtime neglected office building in near Gramercy Park was formerly owned by the Ring family as part of a large real estate portfolio. The condos will start at around $3.9 million, and the top floors will,according to renderings acquired by 6sqft, house a multi-level restaurant with massive Art-Deco floor to ceiling windows. The top floor exterior will  boasting a huge-turn-of the-century era clock as its crowning glory.

Interiors will reportedly feature Calacatta marble countertops and chevron-pattern oak flooring. And befitting of Fifth Avenue regality, the second floor will house 400 square foot studios for condo owners to purchase for their staff.
