Murray’s Cheese Bar

Having expanded from the eponymous cheese shop, Murray’s Cheese Bar serves brunch, lunch, and dinner and obviously specializes in, you guessed it, cheese. Serving wine and beer, Murray’s has a wide selection of meals, covering all the basics with a cheesy twist.

Recommendation: Have their cheesemonger prepare you a personalized cheese plate.

Morandi

If you’re craving Italian, Morandi is the place to go. A rustic atmosphere with sidewalk seating available, this trattoria was opened by restaurateur Keith McNally and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner on weekdays, and then exclusively for dinner on weekends.

Washington Square Park

From the fountain to the iconic arch, what’s not to love about Washington Square Park? On a purely aesthetic level, it’s gorgeous and spending the day reading a book or picnicking there is a day well spent.

Bleecker Street

Bleecker Street is essentially the heart of Greenwich Village, and you haven’t truly visited until you’ve taken a stroll down it. Today, it’s fame is mainly due to being the “nightclub district” of Greenwich Village, but you truly never know what you’ll find walking on this quintessential street. Its history is rich, and it’s had many of the rich and famous as residents during its lifetime, but the best part of Bleecker Street is its diversity. One moment, you’re walking past the shiny glass entrances to stores of high-end fashion labels, the next you may come across a rustic vintage shop or a quirky bakery. Sex and the City fans will definitely want to check out the famed Magnolia Bakery, which was featured in the show many times. If you're in the mood for theater, stop and see a show at the Culture Projecttheater, a performance space speciaizing in shows with social justice themes. Bleecker Street is an adventure of its own.

The Stonewall Inn

Of all the places one could possibly see in Greenwich Village, The Stonewall Inn is the one who carries the most cultural significance, and some might even say the entire neighborhood is defined by it. The location of the notable Stonewall Riots in 1969, The Stonewall Inn is the location that really sparked the Gay rights movement. History was made on that June night 47 years ago, and the Inn still stands as a functioning bar and nightclub, as well as a reminder of the past. Politics of it aside, it’s a historic landmark and worth paying a visit to.

10 Bond Street

Designed by the legendary Annabelle Selldorf and her team, 10 Bond Street is an exclusive residence containing only 11 homes. The exteriors is a classic yet beautiful steel and terra cotta combination, and the layout are spacious and elegant. The breakdown of this 7-story building includes nine 2- to 3-bedroom homes, one townhouse, and one penthouse. Oversized windows throughout and stainless steel appliances are the cherry on top.

17 East 12th Street

This condominium building is modernity at its finest, with incredible details, herringbone floors, massive windows to let in natural light, and state-of-the-art appliances. The lobby, with its limestone floors and mahogany panelled walls, is staffed by both a doorman and concierge. Each resident is provided a parking space within an automated garage, although cars are hardly necessary when all you could ever need is within walking distance.

215 Sullivan Street

Don’t let your eyes deceive you, although this stunning building was built intentionally to resemble Victorian Gothic style, it is only a two year old building. This gives it all the amenities and up-to-date luxuries of the modern day, married with the stunning details of the past. Containing 25 homes, spanning from lofts to townhouses and penthouses, 215 Sullivan is a stunning place to call home and is conveniently located minutes away from Washington Square Park.
