A new luxury condominium for privacy seeking celebrities and New Yorkers is nearly complete at 443 Greenwich Street. CetraRuddy’s renovation and restoration of a former 1880’s book bindery in Tribeca consists of 53 condo’s, including a few of the priciest penthouses in the downtown area.
The building features 45 loft-style apartments that measure 2,900-4,250 sqft. The remaining eight units will be penthouses that range from 5,000-9,300 sqft. Prices range from $7.15 million for a two-bedroom, and go up to $55 million for five-bedroom penthouses. Earlier this year, the building’s $54 million penthouse went into contract, marking it the priciest penthouse in all of downtown, surpassing the $50.9 million penthouse at Walker Tower.
In the center of the building there is a 4,000 square foot courtyard designed by HM White. The building will also include a hammam, a yoga room, an indoor pool, and more.
Many apartments are already in contract, but 40 percent of the building is still currently available.
