After several rumors going around about the cost of the four floor penthouse at 220 Central Park, the answer is finally revealed! The 23,000 sqft residence will cost $250 million, marking it as the city’s most expensive apartment!

AG filings confirm that this massive home is a combination of smaller apartments. It will include an 11,000 sqft duplex on the building's 50th and 51st floors, followed by three “smaller” units on the 52nd and 53rd floors.

Plans also show that the developer, Vornado has created four new penthouse units–two of which will ask for $100 million. 220 Central Park will offer 116 units total, with a projected sellout of $3.17 billion. Since last November, the building was 50 percent sold, and if this $250 million sale is purchased, it will surpass current record holder for the $100.5 million penthouse that was sold atOne57 in January of 2015.
