Financial District's Beautiful New Skyline Extension: 50 West Street
The Financial District continues to grow with yet another development. This shiny 780-foot tower at50 West Street has brought 191 condominiums to the neighborhood and is a beautiful addition to the NYC skyline.
The building topped out in September of 2015 and the exterior of the tower has now finally wrapped up with sales already launched on the one to four-bedroom apartments. Each home varies in layout, some with double-height living rooms and others are duplexes.
You can expect all of the units to feature lavish finishes with gourmet kitchens that include marble and limestone countertops, stainless steel appliances and wooden cabinetry, while the bathrooms include a soaking tub and marble vanity countertops. Although every unit has a unique layout, each of them includes floor-to-ceiling windows that expose extraordinary views of the Hudson river, city skyline, and even the Statue of Liberty.
Only a few of the amenities have been announced and include a children’s playroom, state-of-the-art fitness center, health club, lounge room, library, and pool. The location of the development is situated in one of the most historic neighborhoods in Manhattan, home to cobblestone streets filled with old pubs, five-star restaurants, and endless boutique shops.
Prices range between $2.5 million for a 1,087-square-foot one bedroom apartment to $5.9 million for a 3,373-square-foot three-bedroom home.
