Revisiting Sterling Mason’s Stunning Condominiums
One of Tribeca’s treasures, Sterling Mason, was completed back in 2013, and luckily there are still some stunning apartments available in this building.
Developers Taconic Investment Partners purchased the site at 71 Laight Street for $65 million and began construction on the condominium development in 2008. The structure is made up of two buildings, which the designer, Moris Adjmi, separates through the color of the facade–one side is made up with a more modern grey brick while the other is a classic red brick. Both sides come together to bring 33 units to Tribeca.
The two buildings are only six stories and each floor holds just three apartments per building, making each one very spacious and perfect for large families. Every home is complete with high ceilings, an abundance of windows, a fireplace, hardwood floors, a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and large bathrooms with a soaking tub, rain shower, oversized mirrors.
Sterling Mason has lavish amenities for residents that include a library, bike storage, state-of-the-art fitness center, children’s playroom, and a rooftop deck with views of the neighborhood as well as the gorgeous Hudson River. Tribeca is known for its cobblestone streets that are lined with upscale restaurants and bars, boutique shops, cafes, and many lush green spaces.
Half of Sterling Mason’s apartments are three-bedroom homes and some are still available starting at $6,400,000, as well as two-bedroom apartments for $4,500,000.
