Soaring Condominium Coming to Morningside Heights
Rendering by Binyan Studios
A new condominium tower is coming to Morningside Heights, and it is sure to set itself apart from the host of new developments that have sprung up in recent years thanks to its height and classic facade.
Savanna Development is behind this mega development at 543 West 122nd Street, dubbed the Vandewater, and construction has already. Renderings of the soon-to-be-residential building were recently revealed and showed the classic exterior designed by Incorporated Architecture and Design as well as SLCE Architects. Along with this, Michael Van Valkenburgh has been hired to design the building's landscape garden.
The tall tower will hold a total of 183 apartments ranging from one-to-four bedrooms and many will feature views of the Hudson River, Central Park, and the rest of the gorgeous city skyline.
Vandewater will have 24,000 square feet of amenities including a fitness center, outdoor dining area, landscaped private gardens, and more to be revealed soon.
This luxury tower will be centered near several architecture landmarks, Columbia University, several parks, cafes, restaurants, bookstores, and will be just a short walk away from several subway lines that offer quick access to the rest of the city.
While construction is still underway, homes are expected to hit the market soon.
