Union Square Branching Out: More & More Luxury Apartments Available
From its dynamic social history to its famous Greenmarket and Holiday Market, Union Square has always been a diverse hotspot. Well, diverse for the most part... it hasn't always offered many upscale housing choices. But that's changing pretty quickly. It's hardly surprising high-end developers are taking advantage of Union Square's exciting setting--great bars, classy restaurants, unique shopping, Union Square Park, and so on. And it's no wonder high-end homeowners are steadily filling up Union Square luxury apartments. Here's a clip from a recent NY1 article, Union Square Housing Turns Trendy, Luxurious:
"There's always been demand in Union Square for luxury housing," says Executive Vice President Shlomi Reuveni of Brown Harris Stevens Select. "The problem has always been that there hasn't been enough product, so by building this project, and by the other developers seeing the specific niche they can satisfy in this neighborhood, I think we are answer the demand for luxury housing."
Diversity is good, whether we're talking portfolios, cultures, or home options for people of any income. And diversity suits Union Square just fine.
