Designed by David Kenneth Specter, the Galleria, the 57-story building on 117 East 57th Street, is New York City’s first ever complex, mixed-use building located right on the border of Midtown East and the Upper East Side. With eight floors of office space, and 47 floors of condominium apartments, the Galleria has a both bold and dramatic façade thanks to its granite-framed base and a pre-Deconstructivist top.
