Although celebrities in New York City change their addresses a lot, there’s always a steady stream of stars living in the city’s various neighborhoods. Chelsea’s cultural spaces have stars like Nick Jonas, Sam Waterston and Lance Bass living in them, while the classic confines of the Upper West Side is home for Jerry Seinfeld and Ron Howard. Thanks to their demands for privacy, the actual addresses of these celebrities are usually never said out loud, but residents of these neighborhoods can rest assured of a celebrity sighting sooner or later.

But there is an added lesson to be learnt from the throngs of celebrities moving into Manhattan. It’s good to remember that our stars are investors too, and right now, they are choosing to put their money in New York City real estate.
