Battery Park City Takes Part in Restaurant Week

Restaurant Week has once again returned to New York City, that time of the year when New Yorkers can whet their appetites with fine cuisine for a fraction of the regular prices. The name Restaurant “Week” however, is a bit of a misnomer, since it actually lasts for quite a while. This year, it started on Monday, January 14 and will last until Friday, February 8, so, while time may be running out, there is still plenty left to snag a full, three-course lunch for $25 or a dinner as low as just $38. Here are some of the best Downtown deals Restaurant Week has to offer.

2West: Two West Street

Located in the Ritz-Carlton hotel, this elegant dining room has expansive windows that overlook Battery Park. A selection of comfort foods is displayed on the menu, from lobster bisque to Truffle Parmesaen Fries. The hotel itself is located on the South end of the district, at the appropriate address of Two West Street.

Blue Smoke: Vesey Street

It's difficult to attend a backyard barbaque on a cold January night in New York City, but Blue Smoke makes it slightly more in reach. The authentic pit barbeque has a selection of regionally-inspired entrees from St. Louis to Texas, Memphis to Kansas City, and all the other places in between.

Atrio Wine Bar: North End Ave

Located in the lobby of the Conrad Hotel, this restaurant beautifully blends traditional cuisine with artistic creations. Whether it's the usual crow-pleaser of traditional pizza, or Mountain Gorgonzola, Spicy Nduja, and Roasted Pepper Pizzas, guests will appreciate the culinary journey.
