40 West 55th Street

40 West 55th Street is a red brick building that offers apartments for sale in Manhattan’s Midtown West neighborhood. Built in 1924, the structure was originally used for offices, but was converted to hold 35 two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments. Mixing contemporary with its prewar characteristics, the building is unique in that the lobby and vestibules have décor inspired by the Museum of Modern Art.
