Walker Tower is a name imbued with history. Originally called The Verizon Building, an Art-Deco style skyscraper designed by famed architect Ralph Walker, the Chelsea high-rise is now one the most sought-after modern condominiums in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood. With pre-war detail that is absent from any contemporary designs, Walker Tower is the ideal combination of classic style with the modern comforts that define luxury New York apartments.
Walker Tower features 55 luxury condos for sale, each boasting 10-foot windows and a layout that allows for expansive views out onto Chelsea and downtown Manhattan. Walker Tower also has a four-story penthouse extension. Spaciousness is certainly key as all units are built with a lofty ceiling height and expert detailing. Walker Tower’s designs will aid in bathing all units with light through the expansive window designs. With large private terraces available, residents will be given access to lofty outdoor spaces.
Walker Tower is an excellent combination of past and present. While Ralph Walker made the architectural basis that allowed for many of the features at 212 West 18th Street, the building is ready to be carried into the future.
